Madarts is a Brooklyn based artists' community. The artists of Madarts work in a South Slope warehouse transformed into over three dozen studios and a recording studio. Their gallery, Giacobetti Paul, opened in late 2009 in DUMBO with openings on first Thursdays. Find news here about upcoming art shows, projects and images from the exhibitions.

This is the blog of the Madarts resident artists. Madarts is a 14,000 square foot arts facility on two floors of a former Renault factory/home furnishings warehouse in the community between Park Slope and Sunset Park that we affectionately refer to as SoSlo. South Slope. About 30 artists work in 25 art studios.
